Joanna joined Anaro Group in 2021 when she returned to her hometown, after living in Brighton, United Kingdom and travelling extensively throughout Europe. As part of the finance team Joanna oversees the day-to-day accounting functions for our investment portfolio and preparation of financial statements on behalf of our investors to ensure all statutory requirements are met.

Joanna additionally provides support to our small to medium business clients to navigate legislative requirements and offer support in all aspects of day-to-day business operation and performance. Joanna is passionate about assisting business growth and her clients to meet their goals and financial objectives. Joanna takes a pragmatic and tailored approach and values open communication with clients to build strong durable relationships.

Joanna holds a Bachelor of Commerce in accounting and marketing from the University of Otago and is pursuing further study for continuous improvement and professional development.

Outside of work Joanna dedicates her time to multiple community groups and organisations.
Martine Conlan
Martine Conlan Chartered Accountant,

Martine joined Anaro Group in 2012 after completing her Bachelor of Commerce in accounting and management at the University of Otago. Martine is a registered Chartered Accountant, completing her graduate diploma with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Martine oversees the finance and administration team with concentration on financial management and reporting, capital, forecasting, and cash flow management for the Anaro Portfolio. In addition, Martine is responsible for taxation compliance across the portfolio.

Martine has strong analytical and judgement skills, providing strategic guidance regarding Anaro investment strategy, including fund structuring and ensuring the best returns for our wholesale investors.

Martine works closely with our small to medium accounting clients providing support with residential investment tax implications and tax planning.

Martine is a busy Mum to two young boys, Hugo and Spencer. Martine takes every opportunity to spend a weekend away exploring New Zealand with Hugo, Spencer and her husband, Sean.
Jason Little
Jason Little Chief Operating Officer As Chief Operating Officer Jason oversees all systems and processes across Anaro Group’s operations and ensures the Anaro business, and each operating company we manage, meet each of their legal, regulatory, compliance and reporting obligations.

Since 2013 Jason, alongside an experienced team, has managed a large holding of investment property with an array of tenants in a challenging operating environment which requires well-designed and finely tuned management systems to operate efficiently. In meeting these needs Jason draws upon his deep operational management experience gained throughout his career, including with the publicly listed entity Silver Fern Farms. Outside of work Jason enjoys time on the golf course when he can.
Annie Crombie
Annie Crombie Investor Relations Annie has a wealth of knowledge across several industries and joined the Anaro Group in 2023. Annie's focus is to ensure Anaro continue to build strong relationships with investors.

Annie's career includes 35 years as a leading travel agent, Owning and Operating House of Travel Merivale in Christchurch, 3 directorships and more recently in management of people and culture with Crombie & Price Ltd.

Annie has an effervescent enthusiasm for life. She is a people person, with strengths in sales, interviewing and deep questioning which creates successful relationships tailoring personal solutions.

Outside of work Annie enjoys her family, mountain biking, skiing and windsurfing, with 9 national titles.
Natalie Evans
Natalie Evans Executive Director,

Natalie is a Chartered Accountant and has been with Anaro in excess of 20 years. Prior to this Natalie was in private practice. She brings a vast array of experience in acquisitions, mergers, finance and management.

Natalie has also had a key role in the development of the Bella Vista Accommodation Network brand. She enjoys working alongside the network of businesses nationwide and finds this support role very fulfilling.

Over the next decade Natalie plans to mentor and empower her team and others seeking her skills to facilitate and encourage the very best performance - professionally, operationally and personally.

She has a passion for continuous improvement, endeavours to embrace change, is trying to be more tolerant and tries to live by the philosophy of the author, Gustave Flaubert, (the most influential French novelist of the nineteenth century and author of Madame Bovary), who is renown for the following quote -

“Be regular and orderly in your life, so you may be violent and original in your work.”

Natalie is hopeful her work will speak for itself when she looks back in a decades time.

Natalie is a Director or Trustee on a number of Boards.

Natalie grew up in Dunedin, has 3 grown children, a cat, a dog and some cows and today lives in the seaside town of Oamaru with her partner, Wayne.
